The most widely used wear resistant steel in cement industry
Abrasive wear is most common to see in cement industry, and wear resistant materials are mainly used for vertical mill liner, discharging liner, hopper liner, rollers and vertical mill table liners etc. All these wear resistant materials can be divided into three categories according to materials:
1. High manganese steel
High manganese steels occupy a predominant position in the wear-resistant materials market in 80s, it has excellent toughness and can have work hardening in cases of strong shock conditions but it is easily caused plastic deformation, wear resistance is not good.
2. Alloy steel
Alloy steels include low carbon alloy, medium carbon alloy, low carbon high alloy
3. Wear resistant cast irons
It contains high chromium cast iron, chromium iron, low chromium cast iron, Ni hard cast iron and high chromium cast steel. The overall advantages are high hardness, good abrasion resistance. Disadvantages: poor toughness.
4. Chromium carbide overlay plate
