One of customer engaged in cement from Zhangjiagang YaoYu shared his experience and said, YaoYu VAUTID chromium carbide overlay plate is the most effective solutions to feeding chute abrasive wear.

Chute abrasion resistant technique of cement grinding system is a grinding production line consisted of ball mill at diameter 3.8m by 13m and CLF170-100 roller press, each production line of roller press system has 7 different shape feeding chutes .

The initial installation condition is: 7 feeding chutes are made of Q234 steel plate without any anti wear treatment, some of feeding chutes are made into staircase shape. The trapezoidal inflection point and 2 side plates are subject to high wear, there are 2 non trapezoidal chutes were worn and leak less than a day under construction, and the other 3 non trapezoidal feeding chutes all failed to work within a week, they has to be welded 3-6 times in each shifts, cement industry can not have an normal production due to repeated welding repair. They also try to put conveying belts on the feeding chute inside, but did not work.

Under the same working conditions, VAUTID  chromium carbide overlay plate can work at least 14.6 times better than Q235 steel plate, so it has a much longer service life than it. Finally, they come to Zhangjiagang YaoYu and choose V-100 chromium carbide overlay plate to make feeding chute, total 7 feeding chutes have to use 110 square meters wear plate, we send full size wear plate to them and they cut and do welding in their own factory.
