Zhangjiagang YaoYu Wear Resistant Company supplies high hardness and high quality chromium carbide overlay plate CCO with nearly 10 years experience since 2007, we make different size and thickness overlay plate for our customers all over the world.

Process :we are using open arc process to make COO plate, base plate can be mild steel or stainless steel, and we can also manufacture pipe with a chrome carbide overlay on the inside. CCO plate can work 4 times better than high manganese steel , low alloy steel and cast iron, while cost is only 2 times of that.

Welding bead: Typically the weld bead is along the width of the plate and the hardfacing layer is smooth without high spots, we have roll press to flatten them after welding, as it’s very important for the plate to be as flat as possible.

Normal pattern and weave pattern overlay plate are available from us, and now weave pattern plate is much more popular in the market as it is more convenient to install.

Welding cracks: The cracks are typical in this material and caused by stress relief due to high hardness, they are uniform and will not go into the mild steel. If there were no cracks, it would be concerned. 

Overlay thickness: Overlay thickness may vary within 1mm and you can have the minimum thickness.

Hardness: Hardness is HRC 58~62, and it is difficult to obtain exact hardness because of distribution of carbides throughout the weld deposit.

Packing and transportation: plates are packed in steel pallets and we will usually paint the plate black before shipping.

Chemical composition: it contains 25-30% of chrome and 4-5% of carbon in welding wire.

Applications: Applications in terms of use of wear products are concrete, machining, grinding, transportation, mining and power plant. CCO can be made into different shapes, such as liner, chute, bucket, mixer, conveyor, trough, elbow, slurry pipe, and screen plate, plasma cutting, bending and holes (through-holes, countersink holes) are available from us.
